NED’s Kindness Adventure Assembly

The Mighty Mustangs went on a kindness adventure! The Mustangs were visited by Ned and his friend who shared what they learned on their adventure visiting students in Kenya, Africa. We learned about the Kenyan culture and language along with some of the differences and similarities we share as students. Did you know that we all have a superpower? Our superpower is our smile which can help spread kindness around the world. Ned also shared with us the following five things he learned on his first visit to Kenya which are great reminders on what we can do to be kind.

• Include others
• I can make friends anywhere
• Each person matters a lot
• Different can be good

Beginning Tuesday, May 28th, there will be a Kindness Sale for items that were handcrafted in Kenya. A small portion from each item sold helps provides over 100 gallons of clean water for kids in Kenya. At Melrose Park School kindness rocks!
