The Youth Community Alliance in collaboration with presenters – School District 89, the Maywood Police Department, Presence Health, wynning teams and Illinois State Representative Kathleen Willis – brings you an awareness workshop to help students and parents navigate the challenges of middle school.
Parents and students will participate in an engaging presentation on balancing academics with social, emotional and personal challenges.
Topics covered will include how to motivate and communicate effectively with our children.
Light refreshments will be served and supervised activities will be provided for children 10 and under.
Admission is free of charge and open to the public.
